Ma Chao smiled knowingly "When did you pass?" he grinned his blue eyes shining "You too afraid to leave?"

"This isnt an academy, it's the main base" Bryan said calmly, "It's where we get our assignments and... well, the arena is just too much damn fun, i've beaten it 7 times, going on 8

Ma Chao smiled "You ain't faced me" his smile turning to a grin "Are powers allowed or is it just wepons?"

"Anything is allowed, just has to be entertaining"

Ma Chao grinned "Well then" he spread his arms out as he walked towards Bryan "Let us entertain the masses" he grinned his spear in his hand

The place opened up to a large arena, a crowd of thousands all cheering for the upcoming blood, "Looks like quite the crowd this year." Bryan grinned.

Ma Chao shrugged "Not like they are going to see much of a show" he stepped forward keeping his spear next to his body ignoring the noise of the crowd he walked out into an open area of sand he stopped somewhere near the middle and looked around his warriors eyes taking in every little detail

Bryan stripped his shirt, turning into his tiger form, "Eh, it'l be good enough"

The arena had a sand-like floor, with a circular wall forming the edge of the arena. There are countless spikes jetting out of the wall, as for anything else, it is unseen.

Ma Chao grinned looking at the spikes knowing to stay away, taking in the fact it was round he was expecting there to be at least 4 hidden openings in the floor. He span his spear as he heard the announcer start to describe him as some all mighty warrior. Looking at Byran he sighed "Whos my opponent?"

"Who isnt..." Bryan grinned, "1st round.... battle royal..." He looked around, "It looks different this year."

"Welcome to the 364th annual testing arena, here we weed out the weak, leaving only the strongest to join our ranks. Round 1, Begin!" An unseen announcer yelled as parts of the wall opened and hundreds rushed into the large arena, before the walls closed behind them.

"Looks like fun..." Bryan said, cracking his fingers.

Ma Chao stood looking at the hundreds rushing at him, he stayed still until they were almost upon him, as the first man got within wepon distance Ma Chao exploded in movement his spear creating a dance of death for anyone within reach, causing the smarter fighters to back away slightly
